rarely do i post real weddings ... BUT this one, hands down has some of the cutest/most creative decor. my favorite detail was the books with the word program stamped on the edge.
i went camping over the weekend and had such a great time with my family. i also indulged in way too many sweets ... but non as pretty as these flowered cupcakes. i just love cupcakes at weddings!
well this was a design that didn't make the cut for a client ... but i still like it. the flowers are gerbana daises and can be changed to go with any color scheme. (i am thinking about putting it up on my etsy shop)
i hope everyone had a chance to look at the DIY table number project i designed for flights of fancy two months ago. there's so many good DIY projects out there right now ... here are some great pictures of some of my favorites ... enjoy!
so over the span of 2 weeks i found the time to refinish and paint this desk that i bought off of craig's list for $30. and i thought i had taken a before picture of the desk ... so you could see how great it looks now, but i must have forgotten ... poop! i think my favorite part about the desk is the drawers. i used an oak finish on the top and painted the body of the desk a light mint color ... i am so in love with mint!
i think it's such a great idea to have themed engagement photos ... i particularly like the nautical theme. it's so cute and simple, much like this outfit i put together ... hope you like!
i love the his & hers shoe styles couples find to wear ... but there is a lesson when it comes to his & hers. before couples get married, he has his things and she has hers ... then after marriage he has less and she still has hers. lol don't ask me why this is, it just is. it has happened in my house hold and it's not like i am purposely taking away his things, i am just finding them better homes.
as mush as i love the way high heels look ... my feet really appreciate the way flats feel. i barely made it to my wedding reception before having to ditch the heels for my little blue ballerina flats. here are a few of my favorite sassy bridal flats i've found.
lately i've been wanting to decorate my workspace ... something simple and easy, yet creative ... and i think this cute 5x5 mosaic wall art is going to work perfectly.
ever since i did this color palette for flights of fancy, i've been in love with the color mint. it's such a refreshing color to see and i hope to see more of it in the coming months.
